Arsenal beat boring Bolton 1-0

January 10, 2009

Congratulations to Niklas Bendtner today, his goal put us 1-0 up after almost 90 minutes of extreme defensive football. The crowd were getting on the teams back towards the end, but with Vela and Bendtner on we managed to penetrate the Bolton wall. I am frozen, it was bloody cold in the Emirates today. Highlights and more analysis to come. Also well done Kolo, he captained the side to our 7th game unbeaten, and another clean sheet!

I would say you were lucky you watched the game at the Emirates today but after the result….Nevertheless it’s always great going to see Arsenal live. To those ironically cheering Bendtner, I was thinking they had no right to cheer the goal but we’re all Gooners. Hopefully he can find the form which made him an exciting prospect.

Yeah, I was really happy that he scored because quite a few around me were giving him stick. I just don’t see the point of abusing young players as only confidence will improve their game. The guys who were doing it looked a bit embarrassed when he scored!
