New Arsenal Away Kit 09/10 – Good or bad?
A few weeks ago we got the official released pictures of the Arsenal away kit for 09/10 season. Personally I think it is pretty average. It is disappointing that they went for a blue away kit, I generally prefer, like most Arsenal fans to be in Yellow.
I was excited to see the rumours of a green away kit going round, but now I see that Nike opted for the boring blue pin-stripes.
I don’t buy new shirts often, generally I stick to my old home top or the famous bruised banana away kit from the Nineties, and I see even less reason to fork out £40 for this kit.
Surely the club saw how popular this season’s away kit was. I know that they have to vary the colour a bit, but how many people do you see wearing the yellow away kits of the past versus the blue ones? It would be interesting to see their sales figures.
Secondly the kit itself is pretty boring. If you ask me the design is mediocre, and I would have preferred something a little more streamlined.

It ghastly, we should stick to yellow & blue – this seasons away shirt was great… now a nose dive into boring dark blue – yuk!
Absolutely odious. I’d dump Nike in a minute, they’ve produced some true horrors over the last 15 years.
This shirt might prove popular in Singapore, but I can’t see anyone in north London finding it attractive. Looks like the kind of thing a Chavski-supporting city boy would don to play squash.
arsenal away colour is yell0w and blue not green
am glad the club is varying the away kit just to keep the sales ticking over, but should not stray away from yellow or blue, albeit plain blue is a variation of the yellow and blue kit, it stays within our away colours.
any other coloured kits should just be 3rd kits
Boring. i don’t mind blue, i don’t mind pinstipes, i even like a collar. but some how it’s not for me. i did like the cream with redcurrant pinstripes that was going around the net though.
I Think its nice, i like the yellow as an away kit, but i also like the blue kit. definatly better then having a green kit

Total crap。Not worth paying a fiver for。Even the white kit had redcurrant “bits“。Pinstripes are better ”suited“ for the bigboys in the Emirates executive offices not on the pitch。Will continue to wear yellow when watching next seasons away games on the box！！！
It’s not an awful kit, I just think that the design is boring. We have had much nicer looking kits in the past.
If they had to vary it I thought that the green would have been interesting.

If they ditched the collar and put a thicker light blue trim around the neck and sleeves it would be better… look like a supporters shirt not a real kit!

It’s shite, cheap boring pinstripe design, stick with the gold Arsenal.

I think that even though it is a little plain and not very innovative… At least they havnt tried something too crazy and come oiut with something horrible… pinstripes… sleak, slick and classy. I like it and would be happy to pay for it… the old away jerseys just bring us bad luck…Scrap em
